Bird Studios / Shueisha, Fuji TV and Toie Animation have joined with Amanda to publish sets of cards that are hard laminated (therefore slightly wider than regular cards, but they still fit in a card sleeve) cards. The only way to actually identify the series is to look at the back of the card at the bottom next to the 100 in a box (the original price being 100 yen a card) there is a four digit number with one or two letters after it. The numbers are month and year of release so 0791G cards were released in July of 91. It may have a G after it or it may not. I don't know what the G means, it could have something to do with the movie the card is associated with. I believe these cards were made to be sold during the Dragonball Animation Fair movies. Most if not all of the cards as you would expect are group posses or action shots like pictures used to promote the movies.
After the month and year series number there is a letter, A-E to identify the card (I have never seen a series go passed E but they could). Because there is no book to identify these cards with and I don't have enough of the cards to assume they follow a rigid pattern I do not know how many cards are in each set. That is why I have put a question mark after the trailing letter in the Numbering column. The letter that is there I am sure of because I have that card, but I cannot be sure there are not more in the series. In fact I am almost positive there are in many of them. I also think there are probably more sets than what I have listed. These are confirmed cards. Any info you have on these cards would be helpful.
